Erhard Brüning’s CD Why.

The story :

Endlich nach so vielen Jahren gibt es sie für euch zu kaufen.

Damals, als sie entsstanden ist, war überhaupt nicht daran zu denken, sie produzieren zu lassen, da es für mich einfach unerschwinglich und auch in meinen Lebensumständen gar nicht möglich war.

Das erste Stück „Close to you“, schrieb ich für meine kranke Frau, die Mutter meiner Kinder.

Die anderen acht sind in einer Klinik in der Nähe von Berlin entsstanden, wo ich mich in eine Frau mit ihrem Kind verliebte und wir sozusagen dort schon mit meinen zwei Kindern als Familie lebten.

In einem Aufenthaltsraum, wo wir oft mit den Kindern waren, schrieb ich all diese Lieder und wusste schon genau, wie sie als Band E.VAN B. klingen werden, wie in dem Film „Can a song save your life“, wo sich der Produzent ebenfalls einen Song vorstellte.

Nach dem Klinikaufenthalt zogen wir alle zusammen und die CD ist in den Mittagspausen dann eingespielt und produziert worden.

Aber eine CD damals herstellen zu lassen, war mir leider nicht möglich. Jetzt endlich wird es wahr und endlich kann man meine Musik hören und kaufen.

Sie handelt von Liebe, Partnerschaft und Freundschaft mit all den damit verbundenen Gefühlen.

Danke an Jenny, mit der das alles erst möglich geworden ist und die eine tolle Mutter für meine Kinder war.

Ich wünsche mir, dass meine Musik in der Welt zu hören ist, denn sie ist sehr schön und führt dazu, sich mal zu entspannen und das Leben zu genießen, weil man für die Weile des Zuhörens seine Sorgen und den Alltag vergessen kann.

Also lehnt euch zurück, entspannt euch und genießt meine Musik.

Finally after so many years they are available for you to buy.

At the time it was created, there was no thought at all of having it produced, as it was simply unaffordable for me and also not at all possible in my circumstances.

The first song „Close to you“, I wrote for my sick wife, the mother of my children.

The other eight were written in a clinic near Berlin, where I fell in love with a woman and her child, and we were already living there as a family, so to speak, with my two children.

In a common room where we were often with the children, I wrote all these songs and already knew exactly how they will sound as my band E.VAN B., like in the movie „Can a song save your life“, where the producer also imagined a song.

After the hospital stay we all moved in together and the CD was then recorded and produced during lunch breaks.

But to have a CD produced at that time was unfortunately not possible for me. Now, finally, it is coming true and at last my music can be heard and bought.

It is about love, partnership and friendship with all the feelings that come with it.

Thank you to Jenny, with whom all this became possible and who was a great mother for my children.

I wish that my music can be heard in the world, because it is very beautiful and leads to relax once and enjoy life, because for the while of listening you can forget your worries and everyday life.
